I bought a new hp laptop, first time using vista. The laptop comes with a slide touchpad for the volume. The problem im having is that whenever i use the slide touchpad a rectangular black transparent box pops up that illustrates the volume go up or down and whenever the box shows up and i have internet explorer open or some other program, the box freezes and so does the program. How the hell do i get rid of that box or fix the problem. \Thanks for the help

Have you looked in your Mouse Settings under Control Panel?

I think you'll get much better help in the HP section of the forum...I am sure I saw this issue discussed in there before.

I'm sure we all have those problems. It's particularly annoying when watching a film with VLC.
