Okay I have one question about my laptop.

    My Laptop: Dv6 3050so
    Current processor: AMD Turion™ II P540 Dual-Core Processor ~2.4GHz.
    Ram memory: 4096MB ram.
Grap: AMD Radeon HD 6500M/5600/5700 Series with 1GB

Okay I don't know almost anything about computers . But allways man can learn and why not women too.
So I'm thinkg should I replace something in my laptop?

Is it true you cant upgrade your grap card?

How about processor? That is too bad? or what do you think?

    How about ram?

What I'm going to do with laptop over here ->
Not so much gaming, sometimes maybe something game I would play but not much.
I have decide to start video, picture editing
And also do some html things. (Is here way to speed up computer) (Faster saves and browser opening time?)

If its the processor what is bad in this comp. What I should replace it for?
And is it easy to do? Any links to see how it goes?

Okay, I'll be glad if you can help me out of those problems/ questions

    Answers in bold.

Also can you give more specs or make sure you have the correct model as from what you gave and the HP specs on hp site gives contracticting processors: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...ry&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&lc=en&product=4230544

Please go to hp run the automatic detection and post a link to the product specifications.

Press FN+ESC to get the System Information and on the Processor name make sure and if it's the one you mentioned then HP specs might be giving some wrongful information about the exact model you put.

Also here's a good video for dissasembly of the HP dv6t laptops.

Hello, have you seen the dissasembly, and if so will you be ok in doing all that to get to the processor if not then the only 2 options you can change are the Ram and the Hard Drive.

If you do we will need your motherboard information to know what processors are able to be upgraded.
    So download the HWINFO
and run it and you should be able to get the motherboard information as can't find the 3050so on hp's other countries section. After that we might or should be able to find what the motherboard will accept and if it is possible.

One will be that you'll have to get the right processor and some computers might limit the type of processor you could upgrade. The other is to be able to open up a computer, and you will also need to get some Thermal Compound.

What you or we need to know about your motherboard is the Motherboard chipset, use the program I mentioned.

I would suggest maybe getting some of this guys help in getting more better information if you can as they have done processor changes: http://forum.notebookreview.com/hp-...1678-hp-dv6z-a8-3530mx-processor-upgrade.html
