Ok here is my situation. I have a friend that is wanting me to help them pick a computer. I have my eye on the dv6 series laptops. I am more of a fan of Intel, but the AMD is cheaper, so I am kind of leaning that way. She wants a printer, mouse, carrying case, etc with it. I was able to get a dv6z configured with all of that for $671.77.(With my student discount)

My question is are there any deals out there that I am missing. I must say I was not particularly pleased with how low I was able to get the price and still have at least a dual-core processor. I dug through coupons, but was unable to find one that knocked more than like $10 off. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check the big box retail store ads for preconfigured machines. Often times you can find them on sale for less than you can get similar configurations from hp.com, especially AMD configurations. Best Buy, Office Depot, Walmart, etc. It sounds like you've found a pretty good deal already though.
