My battery for my HDX16 is dead/dying. Does anyone have any suggestions on getting a replacement? Maybe a particular ebay vendor to buy from? Should I get an OEM battery or what? I want the bigger battery.

    Thanks!

Did you find someone? I'm also looking for a replacement but for a Sony Vaio

I've got the 12cell on my HDX .. the battery wear was exceeding 20%, I was in warranty at the time and got a Case Manager to send me a new Battery.

I'd honestly suggest you abandon the HDX and switching to something while you can [while it's worth something]... that's what I intend on doing, upgrading to the E14.

You can get it direct from HP, use a coupon and Cashback site or something... eBay has a lot, just look @ the seller feedback and the items they've been selling
