    Hey folks,

Could you please suggest or give me the green light to purchase any pc5300 sodimm for a ZD7000. I am under the impression that these laptops can be pickey when it comes to memory selection. I am looking for a 1GB stick.

    TIA Guys!

It is not compatible. You need DDR RAM (PC5300 is DDR2). Something like DDR-PC2700 will work though.

ahhhhh thanks for correction... from your answer it does seem I can just get any memory that is the right pc2700 number. I had a co-worker that had a hp or compaq and I remember him having to buy specific memory... that was my main consern....

    Thanks!
