Screen on a HP DV6500 cracked and need to replace it.
I have been searching online and found some good instructional sites and videos, and I think I can do this by myself.
Is is safe to buy screens on eBay? eBay saves me about $150 if I but it there...should I go for it or can anyone refer me some where else.

    Thanks in advance!!

It is possible to replace the screen. What is the eBay link that you are looking at for the replacement screen?

Also, if you need to look at the maintenance and assembly guide for the dv6500, you can find it at http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01295877.pdf. It contains useful information on how to remove and replace your screen.

    Thank you for replying!
The eBay link is: Click here
I also found another website, lcds4less.com ...what do you think?

    Thank you!

The eBay link looks reputable, and it should be fine to buy from them.

I think I prefer eBay in this case compared to lcds4less because the shipping on eBay is free. At lcds4less, shipping is $15 even though they use FedEx.
