I need your guys opinion.
I called HP today about my wireless light not coming on. They had me do updates and everything for it. After the updates were installed the light came on for 5 secs then turned off or it flickers and turns off. They wanted me to send my notebook in for service to see what is wrong with the light. I told them no because I need the notebook for my business and I could not afford to send it in(as in not havining my laptop for a week). I know it's just a light but if it's there it SHOULD work.
I have a dv5000z.

So what are you asking exactly? If you want to know if you should send it in or not, it seems like an obvious answer. If you can't be without your notebook and the problem is (mostly) cosmetic, don't send it in... Maybe in the future you'll have another machine that you can use in the meantime while you have your 5000z serviced.

As long as the wireless is still working then I woulldn't worry too much about it. Heck, some people would love to have tha problem, being annoyed at all the blue lights and such

Thanks for the replies. I decieded not to send it in.
