Does HP Negotiate on the price at all over the phone? I was looking between the Dell E1505 and HP Dv6500t. I really like the HP but it is 300 dollars more than the Dell with similar SPECS . I am using the student discount with both computers.

The only way that I know of that they negotiate is by using coupons, which, with the student discount, won't work.

Or you could wait until Tuesday and get the new Dell 1520 model with Santa Rosa & a new design. Still isn't as sharp as the HP, but its a ton better than the 1505 with those ugly white bumpers.
