I'm trying to connect my laptop to my home network but for some reson it won't do it. When I troubleshoot the network using "Ping" this is what happens:

    From my Desktop computer:
    - I can Ping the Loopback address.
    - I can Ping its own address.
    - But I can't Ping my laptop's IP address.
    From my Laptop:
    - I can Ping the Loopback address.
    - I can Ping my Desktop's IP address.
    - But I can't Ping its own IP address.

This tells me that the problem is in the laptop but I don't konw what to do. I already removed and reinstalled the Network adapter and still it doesn't work.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Note: My desktop computer is connected to the router with an ethernet cable and my laptop is wireless. I'm using a Linksys router.
