on my dv6238ea I never seem to get more than 3 bars on the wireless connection (In vista) even when right next to the hub (BT Home Hub). I got this with my old Dlink router aswell. My Girlfriend's laptop (running XP) however gets full signal.

Does anyone else have issues with this? The reason I ask is that I get stuttering and pausing when I stream back stuff from a NAS disk attached to my router over my wireless connection. It's a real pain in the ass when it starts doing it midway through a tv episode!

    Thanks
    Alan

Yeah, I think it's cause you're not using the latest drivers for your wireless card.

Do you have the intel card? if so, go to www.intel.com and get the latest drivers and you should be fine.
