HP has a new 33% off coupon that works on the Envy 15t, 17t and 17t 3D:

-Use coupon code NBP9668 to get 33% off the purchase of a custom built Envy 15t-3200, Envy 17t-3200 or Envy 173D laptop at the HP Home & Home Office Store. Coupon expires on 7/19/2012, limited to 1500 uses

Example pricing is the Envy 15t-3200, you can get a nice configuration with a Core i7-3610QM, AMD 7750M graphics and 1920 x 1080 radiance display for $1,075 after the 33% off coupon.

There's also a $100 off code for the Envy 4t, Envy 6t and Envy 6z:

    - Use coupon code NBM8468 to get $100 off the purchase of a custom built Envy 4t, Envy 6t, Envy 6z. Coupon expires on 7/19/2012, limited to 500 uses

The 33% off coupon is pretty rare, you see it once every couple of months, it's definitely the best coupon to use on high end configurations.

I had order ENVY 17 a week ago, now could you request HP in accordance with this discount order?

Cancel your order and put in a new one? OR call HP and see if they will apply the discount.

call HP sales support or use chat and tell them you found a better deal using a coupon and you want to apply this new coupon instead of the old. If they refuse, tell them you're just going to reorder and refuse delivery on the one you ordered previously. They'll quickly change their minds and give you the savings. It's best to configure it in your cart and apply the coupon, then if you're logged in they can see your cart and the price you have there.

I will order envy 17 non-3D, seems like build and checking quality is best on Envy line. Not a lots complaint or return for this.

Btw, 33% coupon can also apply in dv6t quad and dv7t quad.

Well it looked like a great deal on the envy 17 but I configured it like the amazon one (750gig hd, blu ray, and 8 gigs ram) and with tax it's only about $90 less for me (no tax from Amazon...yet). That's ok but nothing amazing. Now if you just wanted the base config and don't have to pay tax it's pretty great. Still I might order from hp but it's not as big a savings as I thought it would be.

Still, the price/performance of these machines with the coupon and the quality is almost unbeatable.

Plus the benefit of Amazon customer service in unbeatable. As I returned my Envy 15 for being junk, they gave me $20.00 in promotional credits for the hassle without me even asking! Then, I asked if possibly they could send back my 32gb sdcard I inadvertently left in it. They said nope, but gladly refunded the price I paid for the card from them over a year ago! Wow. I was not even pushing the issue as I am the monkey that screwed up. So I used that $40 refund to buy the same card now for $18.00. I even asked for just a card instead of the refund, easier to refund an existing transaction I guess.

That is Amazon. I buy 80+ items a month from them for a reason.

Looks like it expired already (edit: at least for the envy 15). Called today to try to get credited and it is no longer valid.

They do tend to expire quickly, though last time it was available, it didn't have a limit on uses so lasted out the week.

When you can save $600+ on a system config, it's an easy sales tool to get sales through the door. Glad I didn't wait on it.

Were you trying to do it on the Envy 15t? They just removed that from the offer for some reason. I checked with HP, the coupons are still valid.

Yes, it may be that it reached the 1500 limit for the 15.

I never pay much attention to the discounts. How often does a 33% code come out? There is a code now for 25% off; however, I was planning on using the 33% off today but I wake up and its invalid for the 15...there's a few hundred dollar difference between the 25 and 33% off.

Everyone was probably waiting to pull the trigger for this 33% off coupon. You gotta remember just because it's there today, don't assume it'll still be there tomorrow...

Yeah, hp is weird with its coupons. I was looking at the envy for about 3 weeks and the first week was a 400$ off, then the week after (fourth of july sale) was 450$ off. I decided to wait a bit longer and then literally right after the 4th of july was a 33% off and i was like holy shiett lol. And the 33% coupon lasted about 2 days so if a % deal comes up again capitalize quickly!

Yay, the 33% coupon is back again. I had to order back during 4th of July week, and had to use a flat amount coupon. My order is currently shipped, but not delivered. I tried to use the online chat to get them to apply the new coupon instead and got shot down. After I told them I would reorder it and return the original one, they did suggest I call the HP Resolution Team (888-444-8834), which I did, and they were more than happy to credit me the difference ($320!).

I can confirm the coupon still works. Just used it on a 17. Now the waiting game.

I can confirm that the code does not work for the **15**. That code applies to 5 different models. Apparently 1500 coupon codes can only be used per model (meaning that the 15t has already been maxed out at 1500 codes). As of July 19, the NBP9668 code does not work for the 15t. Those saying that the they are getting credits have already ordered theirs before the code even came out, therefore a credit would be understandable upon calling.

It hasn't worked on the 15 for several days, and I wasn't successful getting credited either a few days ago--they said it must be an active coupon.
