    Stupid question...

Will the new 500gb 2.5" drives with the SATA 3gbs interface work with the DV9500T's?

I suspect the 9.5mm drives will fit, and the 12mm will not.

I am worried about the interface working.

Here is an example drive I am looking at:

Other 500gb drive suggestions would be welcomed.

    Thanks in advance,

    Joe

It will be fine. You are correct about the height. SATA300 is backwards compatible with SATA150.
