    http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html?pageDisplay=drivers

Select "Start Detection" and download the detection program... Then when it finds your laptop click on "Software & Driver Downloads" and then choose your OS...

I updated the bios from f04 to f13. Everything went fine but during update process the fans went crazy loud, Is it normal?

nope, you might be able to fix it by going into bios and turning the 'fan aways on' setting to off.

But after this patch, when i ran cpuz-hardware monitor, the TZ01 sensor shows 90c all the time, so im thinking that the new bios screwed with the sensors readings or something.

anyone know how to roll back a bios? i have a dv8t btw

I installed the BIOS with no problems and I was able to run Ubuntu 9.10 Desktop 64-bit LiveCD without it overheating.

Just a reminder about compatibility: Note that this BIOS update is only compatible with the dv6t Quad Edition and dv7t Quad Edition notebooks. This release will be posted in the Quad Edition notebooks driver thread.

Standard, non-Quad Edition dv6t and second-generation dv7t notebooks should be using BIOS version F.41 A instead. More info about this can be found here -- http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=444484

Oh, I just checked, my TZ01 shows 46 Centigrade but thats on a DV6T (which is what this thread is for... the F.13A BIOS shouldn't even work on the DV8T).
