    hp users,
My hp zx5078cl has a built-in Broadcom 54g MaxPerformance 802.11g wireless adapter. A newer driver for this adapter was posted on hp's website recently that is supposed to allow many hp notebooks with this or other Broadcom-based wireless adapters to take advantage of Broadcom's Afterburner technology (125 High Speed Mode). Has anyone tried this new driver with an Afterburner technology-ready wireless router or access point (e.g. Linsys's SpeedBooster or Buffalo's 125 Hi Speed Mode)? Did you establish a connection using the newer settings for 125 High Speed Mode?

Wi-fi performance freaks, please tell me that you noticed this update. Can anyone tell us whether SpeedBooster or Hi Speed Mode worth pursuing?
