Firstly I'd like to say I'm not highly tech savvy, so these may be normal and I don't know.

2 problems I may be having (or that I've noticed) and I want ot know if I should take it back and exchange it or if it's normal for the model. It wasn't noted in the reviews I've read, so I don't know.

    1) There is quite a bit of keyboard flex on the lower right corner of the keyboard and the bottom 3 buttons (on 2 rows, so all arrow keys, shift and end) are very loud.

    2) When it's running without the power cord plugged in it makes a strange noice from the body. It's kind of like a scratching, but it's not loud. I *think* it's the hard drive making the noise, but that doesn't explain why I only hear it when the power cable is out.

So yeah, take it back and exchange it or are these normal?

    Thanks

Well if it annoys you, then you should take it back and exchange it.

#2, could be the CPU whine you are hearing... it happens when the CPU clocks up and down. my first Ferrari was really bad for it, my replacement is ok.

the keyboard flex is due to a mis seated cable under the motherboard, i had the same annoying problem when i received my computer. Its easy to fix, all you have to do is remove the keyboard and seat the cable in its intended groove.
