Ok so my new HP DV5t is going to be coming very soon. It has the 2.26GHZ processor along with the 9600 graphics Card. Its running windows vista 64 bit. What is the first thing I should do? How do i get rid of all the bloat ware everyone is talking about?

sure u can. there is usually stuff left behind when you do it that way though. otherwise the clean install is nice if you only want to have vista and nothing else

    you could try this also:

well the only thing that scares me about the clean install is that I got the built in fingerprint reader. Will the clean install wipe all of its drivers?

yeah it will. you might search through the above guide or on this site to see if you can back them up or the hp website to see if you can download the drivers separately
