This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hello!

    I just unboxed a refurbished DV8000t I got off eBay. This is one of the newer models with a core duo and a Nvidia 7600. (about $900 :D )

    I used it briefly and everything worked okay. Is there any easy way to test the system for this error? I know that the warranty probably isn't that long so I want to try to make sure I don't get suck with a lemon.
