Ok first of all i just whant to state that the 8600GT is not very good. the rest of my dell is :D but not the GPU

So i thought i'ed sell it and buy a new laptop and i found a good HP i've seen the reviews and it seems to be better then the dells GPU and gaming performance what do you think???

    :D HP Pavilion DV5-1130TX :D basically a DV5t
Operating System -Win Vista Home Premium
Screen - 15.4" WXGA High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display
    CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo T5900 2.2GHz, 800MHz FSB, 2MB L2 cache
    Memory - 2048MB DDR2
Hard Disk - 320GB 5,400 rpm hard drive
Optical Drive - LightScribe Super Multi 8X DVD+/-RW with Double Layer Support
    Graphics Card - NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT 512mb :D :D :D

Is It easy to upgrade hard drives with DV5 because i cant actually get a 7,200 for this system is so ill buy a 7,200rpm ;) and put it in is this a good idea.

do you think its better will i get better gaming performance???

W.r.t the 9600M GT,hp uses GDDR2 memory so it is almost the same as the 8600M GT GDDR3 on the XPS 1530 and you can expect similar performance...though the 9600M GT is better the difference you will notice i think will be insignificant. However,if your 8600M GT was a GDDR2 then..... :D !!

I think its on the HDX18(not sure) but another alternative would be tha Acer Aspire 5930G...but i doubt whether you will be able to get one in OZ.
Also there are some MSI laptops with the 9600M GT GDDR3...check their site.

Oh! i had not noticed your sig.....

well its just i really whant a better graphics card without going over the top i have max $1700 AUD. so if its doesnt have GDDR3 is it really a Big Drawback i can get a Msi 630 for the same price and same specs exept its GDDR3 see my point MSI i think :D
