I just received my Spectre 14-3100 in the mail yesterday, and I must say I love it. I got it on eBay for $795 with these specs:

    Core i5 3317U
    256GB SSD
    8GB RAM
    Intel HD 4000

A pretty good deal considering some of the stuff I've seen on other sites. Well anyways, when I received the machine everything worked fine, except the WiFi. I immediately began searching for the driver. When I downloaded the ones from Intel and HP's website, it gave me this error: "this version is compatible with your version of windows. Make sure you are using the correct (32 bit or 64 bit) version and try again." I was using the 64 bit version which I know to be correct. So when that didn't work, I uninstalled the driver and then reinstalled it using the recovery manager. This did seem to work, however now my wifi is always showing a weak signal, even if I'm in the room with the router. My work laptop (Dell Latitude), has full strength in the same room. How do I fix this? Is this something I need to update the driver for? If so how? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

For reference, my wireless card is the Intel Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6235
