    Hi,

Hopefully someone can help, I've been looking for a gaming laptop (Doom, Crysis, FarCry, CoD WWII etc) that can also be used for general household tasks.

I originally considered the MSI Apache Pro but I understand that the build quality is poor. I then considered the Asus G752VS, which looks decently spec'd but is massive.

Now HP have finally released the HP Omen 17 in the UK with the GTX 1070 GPU ( http://store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/Product.aspx?sel=NTB&id=2CS53EA&opt=ABU). This looks interesting but has no reviews online (that I could find) or videos on YouTube.

Does anyone have this model and if so I'd welcome their thoughts. If not, could someone comment on general Omen heat issues, build quality and performance.

    Thanks in advance,

This one is a similar size to the G752 from the looks of it. Though the G751/G752 machines are not nearly as big in person as they appear in pictures.
