The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    New HP owners who have signed up for windows 7 upgrade please help

    Hi guys I recently got a 8710w but it seems as if the item has been removed from the Windows 7 upgrade page. I checked it at work less than a week ago and it was on there. Unfortunately now HP won't honor the windows 7 upgrade without proof it was on the list. If any new HP owners can check their browser cache for this page and upload the page to google docs or a site like rapidshare , that'd be great.
