Okay, I own an HDX16T. Day 1, I burnt RECOVERY DISKS and then I proceeded with a clean install with a new vista install. I followed the sticky on this forum.
Now, I decided to try to restore the notebook with those recovery disks. Guess what? It appears that you can no longer use those disks without having the original HP RECOVERY PARTITION! ?
I just simply can't use it anymore. I can't restore my notebook to factory condition anymore. The only option I have is to Click "FINISH" and reboot.
Can someone else confirm this?
