    Hello everyone

This is my first post, so excuse me beforehand if I´m doing something I shouldn´t by posting this.

So I ordered this monday my HP Pavilion dv7t Quad Edition , as it should be expected I log in even 3 times a day to check for movements in the order status. And yesterday it changed form "Order dropped at factory" to "Order in production". For those who have bought customizable laptops at HP before, are they strict with the delivery dates? (Yeah, I know... I just ordered monday, I shouldn´t be asking this yet), but still, do they by any chance ship earlier than they said?

This is what the Order Status Site says
    Order in production
(Estimated to ship on March 26, 2010)

    Also, these are the specs:

HP Pavilion dv7t Quad Edition customizable Notebook PC
    • Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
    • Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-720QM Quad Core processor (1.6GHz, 6MB L3 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 2.8 GHz
    • 8GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
    • 1TB 7200RPM SATA Dual Hard Drive (500GB x 2) with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection
    • 1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 320M - For i7-720QM and i7-820QM Processors
    • 17.3" diagonal HD+ High-Definition HP LED BrightView Infinity Widescreen Display (1600 x 900)
    • Blu-Ray ROM with SuperMulti DVD+/-R/RW Double Layer
    • [For BrightView Infinity Display] Webcam + Fingerprint Reader
    • Intel Wireless-N Card with Bluetooth
    • Extra 8 Cell Lithium Ion Battery

Calling all experts in the subject to tell me if I should expect problems with this laptop, Main use will be Gaming.

    That´s it for now.

Hope to hear from you guys.

Generally, your laptop should be at your door by the 26th if there are no specific delays. HP's shipping estimate is a bit conservative. Otherwise, the laptop looks fine with regards to the spec. The GT320M is upper mid range GPU, so dont expect to run everything at high quality.

    Wow thanks for your respones.

Bummer on the Video Card, but when I was customizing it that was the highest option. Well, What´s done is done and I´ll have to make the best of it.
