I have a question. I'm at a friends house and she has a Hpdv6252us. Well I had this old wireless router. So I was like here have it so you can use it with your own laptop. Its here but it doesn't work. Thats it, it doesn't even work. How can I make it work? Also I forgot to mention that its a 802.11b wireless router and the laptop is backwards compatible with the router.

What brand name is the router? If HP dv6252us has wireless G and the router only have wireless B it should work it needs to change setting to B wirless on her notebook.

The router is a Belkin, I think it's kinda old. Where could I access the settings?
