Had USED and Repaired motherboard replaced in HP Pavilon. Was dv2500 series computer; now somewhere in the dv2000 series. Have found some generic drivers that seem to work, but since I do not have the HP Model number I can't tie the motherboard to specific HP Drivers. In particular the Intel PCIe WiFi card WM3945ABG. Intel has drivers, but HP has put their own spin on the driver so Intel drivers do not work. I did get the computer to recognize the wifi with a driver from a dv4000 series, but it would not function.

HERE ARE THE DETAILS ON THE REPLACEMENT MOTHERBOARD::
    DV2000, HP Pavilion/Compaq V300FF (X123XX#ABA)
    Part number 447805-001 (910841)
    Wiston 30b5 6263
    Serial Number 2ce7191Y7G
    Under RAM: MB CT P72705E2DW0005
    AMD, Turion 64X2 TL66 1800mhz
    BIOS F.30

What I need is a DVxxxx Model number or numbers for this board, and/or the correct drivers

    Thanks

Found info at HP Computer Store. Used serial number, and ID was presented plus an extensive parts list.

Surprised you could not have just checked the BIOS main page for system information.
