New Quickplay 3.3 v.4222

I just ran quickplay (3.2) and went to the updates and lo and behold there is a link for an update for an upgrade.

Not sure what has been updated but I'm downloading it now.

 

Yeah I am downloading it now. At 142MB ITS A HECK OF A DOWNLOAD TO!

 

So..what's the verdict? Any changes/difference?

 

I myself must be blind. I can't see and significant changes after I downloaded it and ran it.

 

anyone else downloaded it? if it's 142mb, i better find out if it's worth the download.

 

Downloaded it and installed it and noticed no differences. Cant hurt to have the latest.

 

Hello im new to this Forum and I just want to say that I downloaded the New Quickplay 3.3 v.4222 and YES there are a few things add to the player.

Seems my whole system has improved since my I used cccleaner and this update. I didn't even have the webcam access before. Now there is an icon on the desktop for the HP Webcam also.

 

Can you tell me what they added? I didnt notice anything new.

 

A Game option which is a short cut to your microsoft games. Unless that was already their in the Quickplay 3.2.

A new Dragon style skin was added to the change skin selection.

And the GUI has been change slightly.
From the way I look at it.

 

I would advise people NOT to update to 3.3 if they have a HP DV9233eu notebook - it has just downgraded on my machine and a system restore is useless. All I can see now is the DVD Play part, no webcam or filesystem support.

I am VERY angry with this apparent "update" downgrade.

Has anybody else been able to fix this?

Can you (or someone who has it working) post your config file for it? This can be found in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\QuickPlay\Setting.ini

Well thanks for that extremely useful and pertinent bit of information. I can sleep soundly now knowing it works on your machine. Why not help out and provide your configuration?

Har har your humour is breath taking, shame that your ability to help out your fellow (wo)man on here isn't. I bet you're the type that uses Wikipedia for reference but doesn't contribute to it.

I was referring to the QuickPlay config, although I doubt it will make the slightest bit of difference anyway.

 

Sorry if I misread your question. I didnt really alter my Quickplay configuration. I quickly looked thru the settings and there wasnt much that caught my attention. Is there a particular setting you would want to see?

 

whoa, how did you find that? i never knew cyberlink made quickplay....

its not even listed on their site
