I see there are new HP DV6 models due out with the Processor type
    AMD Turion™ II Ultra Dual-Core Processor M640
    • 2.60 GHz, Level 2 cache 2 MB
    CPU, how good is this?

Also how good is the 4530 GPU?

Really wanting a laptop for music, browsing, video and some gaming how good would this CPU/gpu cope with that?

Can't comment on the CPU but my specs with the 4530 GPU hand me out 3333 3dmark06 points i think i can close to double that with a 4650 GPU.

Compare some of the benchmarks here -
    4530

    4650

    4530 is 64bit bus and 4650 is 128bit

Just trying to say if you do want to use it for gaming as well then looking for a model with the 4650 might be a wiser move.
With the Intel CPU models you can change them up to a T9900

Cheers mate sadly none of the UK DV6 laptops seem to come with the 4650 and that's my size limit, are there any other HP laptops I should look at that are coming soon?

If you want to or have to stay with the AMD processor what about the Artist edition then.....that has the 4650 in it

The 4530 graphics is not bad but its not great either...It will play Crysis but struggles at times.
4530 was all that was available down here also apart from the AMD Artist edition.
Australia has a good spec 1247tx if you got any mates that side,P8800,4650,4gb ram,500Gb HDD
