    New bios for compaq v2000 ?

    Hi I got an e-mail from HP today saying that there are some software updates for my v2000z.
    Apparently there is a new bios :

    Release Date: 2006-03-16 Version: F.24 A

    Fixes intermittent issue that prevented driver from passing Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Lab (WHQL) testing.


    Did anyone checked it already ?

    Anything new other than WHQL thingy that they mention on the page ?

    Update : I did the upgrade nothing new in the setup menues my computer was stable before and is stable now. Well ... now it says F24 in the setup screen ... I guess that is pretty exciting !?... I guess

    My new V2000Z that I received about a week ago came with F.24 installed from the factory. No problems so far...

    Thanks Davin. I am upgrading a bios version F13 shipped with a laptop I bought back in december. I check for updates frecuantly and didn't see this update up to now (they also didn't send me an email until today) so I guess the jumped from F13 from F24A ?

    Did anybody upgrade from F13 ?
