This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     New consumer laptops?

    Does anyone know if HP will be releasing new consumer notebooks this summer. Something to replace the dv5 or dv6? Will they look different or just feature newer internals?

    HP recently refreshed the mainstream consumer line a few months ago with the introduction of the dv6 etc. The dv5 was discontinued early in this year and was replaced with the aforementioned dv6. HP probably won't issue any new redesigns any time soon however they will probably upgrade the internals later this year but that is about it.
