I just got a new hp dv6113us at compusa on blackfriday. I noticed right away that the battery life on this isn't that high and so I checked my battery's wear level with notebook hardware control and mobile meter and both came out with 36% wear on my battery. This can't be normal, can someone else with the same model as mine or at least in the dv6000 series check their battery wear level

Install HP's battery check utility to see the actual status of your battery. Don't worry about what mobile meter and NHC show because they do not detect HP's batteries correctly
