So I just received my brand new Envy beats 14 2 hours ago. While watching a youtube video, my computer froze. WHAT??? only 2 hours old and it froze already. Has anybody had this issue. I know that computers will freeze. But 2 hours in has me honestly concerned. Is there any drivers I need to download/update or ??? Please help.

Yes. Everything froze. The cursor, screen, and all. I had to hold the power button for 5 seconds to do a power down.

Please post the exact model of Envy you have. Also, do not create multiple posts in response to multiple people. Use the multi-quote button located to the right of the standard quote one. Select the posts you want with multi-quote, then use the standard quote button to create a single post.

Is this the same type of freezing that the Envy 17 folks are having due to the buggy Wifi 6200 card? What card do you have?

I am not sure. The envy I have is the basic model. I don't know how to find out what exact model I have. It IS NOT the quick ship model. But the card is Intel 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN and Bluetooth(R)

Well, I'll let the others chime in here or you can read up on it yourself. But there was a problem with using wifi with the 6200 card. The driver was v14, or something like that. People's machines were freezing up. They rolled back to v13 and most say that works. Give that a shot. You probably have the 6200 card.
