    New graphics choices?

    When does HP usually get new graphics cards. In example before they had the 6770m, how long did the older GPU stay there until there were more choices. I'm wondering whether to just buy the laptop right now or wait until they get new GPUs.

    A little bit after AMD and/or Nvidia refresh their graphics card lineups. There is currently nothing better than the 6770M within the given thermal budget so there isn't anything HP can do. The new 28nm GPUs are coming some time next year. There were rumors that AMD might release them late this year, but they seem to have died down and HP wouldn't have had the time to integrate them in any case.

    Thanks, I guess I'll stick with the DV6T that I ordered rather than send it back since there is nothing really sure out there yet and the 6770m is a rather good card for the power it uses.
