    New laptop making buzz and high pitch annoying sound

    Hi i just got the HP dv6 3006TX laptop yesterday, what I have notice is that it makes alot of annoying noises when I'm not playing any music.

    1. Low to high pitch sound like a little whistle- super irritating, I believe its coming the the front area of the laptop where the mouse scroll is at.

    2. When downloading files off internet HD makes a light buzz noise.

    3. The power supply square block makes consistant noise like bugs such as crickets.

    What's wrong with my new laptop?? :confused:

    i have had(still probably do) this problem too. It is a sound distortion. I think it is a problem with the video card.
