I recently picked up my new pavilion at Micro Center. I am very pleased so far. But anyway, this is the first time I've bought a laptop and I knew what I was doing, but I was wondering what I would have to do to make my experience optimal? I know I have to update my drivers, but I don't know where to download them or where to start.
Also another question I have is regarding switchable graphics. My laptop has a Radeon 6770, but I am not sure how to use it I have messed around with that Catalyst controls thing but I'm not completely sure if I am using it right or not. I want it to automatically swap to the dedicated GPU when I am plugged in but I have no idea how to do that! It'd be nice if there was just a manual option to select which I want to use.
I have removed all the bloatware I believe. There was not that much on here, so that didn't take that long.
Anyway, thanks in advance!

There is a manual switch. You have to turn it on in the BIOS. (For the graphics)
I would swap out the dvd drive with a caddy for a second HDD if you want.
(Put in a small (~40GB) SSD in the primary slot and the built in HDD in the caddy.) -
Oh and you are going to want to install the latest DNA drivers. PM me if you need more help.

Thanks for all your help through the PMs Dell.
Anyone else have any suggestions to optimize my laptop?
New laptop, what should I do?
