The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    New models coming out? And New Warrenty transfer?

    I plan to sell the laptop i just bought from hp.com on ebay since it's not powerful enough. It's still in the box & has a 1 yr basic warrenty but i can't find any info on how to transfer it to the whoever i sell it to. Any idea? I emailed HP, no reply as yet..

    Also, after selling i want to buy a proper 17" laptop with some solid configs, but I'm not sure if i should wait for them to release a new model or go with what they have now. These models have been on for sometime now so im guessing they might release something new in the next 1-2 months?
