I would like to swap out the network card in my wife's laptop to a better/faster one.
She has a Compaq Presario CQ60-419WM with a 802.11b/g card in it. I would like to remove that card and put in a 802.11n.

What would a good card be that will work with her computer?

    Thanks,

    Steve

You probably want an N card that uses two antennas like the Intel 5100 AGN. They make them in full and half-height. They're all over e-bay for less than 20 bucks.

I have heard that you have to get a certain card that will work with the chipset or BIOS of the laptop.

I'm hoping for a simple "plug-n-play" upgrade, so I'm asking questions first before buying anything.
