    Looking at the HP support documents, a brand new notebook line called the HP Pavilion g series will be appearing soon.

    Evidence of these new notebooks can be found in these CVA support documents:
    ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp51001-51500/sp51488.cva
    ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp51001-51500/sp51489.cva

    Also, the product listings:

    HP Pavilion g6 - http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?...6256&h_client=test&h_page=hpcom&lang=en&cc=us

    HP Pavilion g7 - http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?...8676&h_client=test&h_page=hpcom&lang=en&cc=us

    The notebooks should feature the 2011 Intel Core processors, but not much else is known about them so far.

    Code:

    SysName01=HP Pavilion g4

    I will post more information about these notebooks once it becomes available. Feel free to discuss and speculate! :)

    I would guess that price wise they will be between the Pavilion and G series notebooks (hence the name Pavilion G)?

    Any information on this line?
    Will it replace the Pavilion line of notebooks or G series or just an addition?
