Hi, just purchased a HP Presario and had a Q about the addition of a external mouse. I have an optical mouse but with the wrong connection for the plug in where HP says it goes. My Q is, can't I use one of the USB ports? I know this is probably a lame Q but thought I would ask anyhow.

    Bluman,

Is your mouse USB or PS/2? If it's PS/2, you can get a PS2 to USB adapter and it should work fine.
