Hey, there doesn't seem to be a lot of info on the laptops on the hp line, as on the dell forum where almost every laptop gets reviewed so i was wondering... I'm interested with the nx7400 but I was wondering is it durable, since i've never heard anything about the hp's business line. I keep on hearing people raving about thinkpads and latitudes, so i was wondering if the Hp's business line is as good as dell's latitude line. Also is the tech support for Hp good or not?

hp business notebooks has similar durability to the dell latitude series....and some even say the build quality is a little better. tech support should be comparable as the latitude tech support as well.

The reason I stay away from Dell is that, IMHO, they have cheap quality plastic toys as laptops. The nx series from HP is very nice. I currently have an NX7000 that is 3.5 year old and it's still working like a charm, no scratches, no crashes, nothing to worry about. And I travel a lot, so it goes through tough conditions, being bumped and dusty all the time, but still, just like brand new.
The only reason I'm not upgrading to the nx7400 is the graphic card installed (that shares memory). I'll go for an nc8430 instead (it has dedicated video memory). Otherwise, the nx7400 would fit my needs and confidence in the quality of the product.

ahhh, kkk good. I thought the Latitude line on dell was really good, like really durable too...well as long as the nx7400 can handle some bumps and falls that's okay for me, lol. I'm a really careless person...so i need a durable laptop.
