I've had this laptop for quite a while and I play games on it. Because of games like BF3 and the Witcher 2, I have to lower the resolution while I play for better performance. The only problem is that I'm missing one of the most common resolutions:1280x720. My laptop's native resolution is 1366x768. When I try to make a custom resolutin in the Intel control panel, it says: "you have entered an invalid value. Please refer to the manufacturer's manual to determine the supported values for this display device." this is B.S because when plugged into a tv via HDMI my laptop can display both 720p and 1080p. I have tried many drivers but the problem still insists. Please help...I need this resolution to play BF3 without lowering the settings.

    Regedit, find
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Video\{whatever it is}\0000]

    Find DALNonStandardModesBCD1 entry and add
    12,80,07,20,00,00,00,60

switch to Intel HD3000 and setup a custom 1280x720 resolution using Intel Graphics control panel. Then switch back over to the AMD and the resolution will also be available

you should be able to handle BF3 at medium settings in 1366x768. that's what i play on and it runs fine
