HP doesn't have any 15.6'' sleeves, I guess I could buy a 16", but I'd like the sleeve to be snug. Does anyone use a sleeve?

I have ordered the HP 16" Espresso sleeve for my 15.6" dv6t. If you are not in a hurry I can let you know how well that fits whenever it gets here.(Unfortunately it is going to beat the laptop here since it is still held up in customs!)

Cool thanks, I'll definitely check them out. Nice review, I'm looking for something light weight and will primarily protect from scratches and stuff. I'm usually always careful not to drop my laptop or anything.

Yea I'd appreciate that, I have nothing but time.. My DV6T won't be finished being built until Nov. 5th

I am hoping that my laptop is going to get here by Friday, but atm it is still saying clearance delay, so there is really no way to know. I will try to remember and post back here whenever I get it in. Feel free to give me a nudge if I forget to post back though.

Ok I finally got it all in. The HP Espresso 16" sleeve fits the dv6t like a glove. Honestly I don't see how somebody would ever even get a 16" laptop in there. It is just right for the dv6t though.

I got the same sleeve for my Envy 15. Perfect fit.

Glad you found one to fit by buying it on line -- and you were really lucky! For me, when I'm looking for something that has to fit perfectly (whether it's computer related, clothes, or whatever...) the only way is to check it out in person by going into a store and taking a look. You can always make the ultimate purchase on line, but at least try it out in person first. (I know that occasionally the manufacturer doesn't have anything available at a retail store -- that's a bummer --- but often they do, and you can usually check with them to see where you can see their product(s).)
