    No Free Xbox on Envy 14 Quick Ship?

    I am trying to buy the quickship model of the Sandy Bridge beats edition off of HP so I can get the 21 day return policy, but they are telling me they don't offer the free xbox on any quickship models. Is this true? I don't see anything about it on the offer details, calling again to see if I can get some other guy who will place the order for me :D

    hm, i customized my dv6t and was able to return it within the 21 day window. i can't imagine it'd be different for an envy.

    No they wouldn't do it, they said they could give me $100 off for the student discount, which comes back to $1026ish after taxes. I just bought it off amazon for $1049 with the xbox, should be here tomorrow. I just liked the HP return policy.

    Actually if you brought it from Amazon directly (meaning it wasn't from a reseller), you get 30 days to return it without questions to Amazon. You just have to pay the return shipping. Therefore with Amazon, you aren't losing much in the return policy.

    Amazon has a different policy for laptops, once it is open you have to pay a 15% restocking fee, if there were no defects with the laptop.

    I just got it a few hours ago, doesn't seem too bad, just the hinges are too loose. Anything I can do about that?
