    Hello,

I just installed XP on my DV6565ca.

The only problem is the battery life has gone from 1hr+ to about 10 minutes.

Any idea what needs to be installed / modified?

    Thanks,

    Mike

Is that the battery life you're actually getting, or the battery life Windows is reporting? It's possible that because it's a fresh install XP hasn't calibrated its battery meter to the actual capacity yet. If that's the case, try completely charging the battery and then discharging it.
