Hello. I have an HP dv9000 "Pavilion Entertainment PC" with a combo CD-DVD drive. I get good audio when playing a CD but when I insert a DVD I get only good pictures but no sound through the speaker. I downloaded the latest Conextant drivers but still no sound. The DVD plays fine on an external DVD player hooked up to my TV. Am I missing a setting somewhere? Thanks.

What media player are you using to play the dvd?

Also do you have the correct codecs installed?
