    No sound through speakers

    I was asked to post here with the hope someone has had similiar problems and have rectified the issue. I am not getting sound through my onboard speakers, only through the headphone jacks. I have tried almost everything I know and with the help of some of the other members here in another forum. I know there is nothing wrong with the speakers because I have removed the original drivers and got sound through the speakers. But the sound is only window own sound which is terrible. Installing the updated sound driver from HP site does not produce sound through the speakers but only through the headphones. Here is the thread I started:
