    Not good on customer Service....

    I posted a thread earlier in the week about a faulty power supply connector on my laptop so i needed to send it in. HP said they would have FedEx come pick the next day. I said great. The next day comes and the Fedex man comes but wants a tracking number or something. I told him HP didnt give me anything. He handed me a shipping label. Well thats hard to fill out since i dont know the address to HP. So i call HP back and tell them. The guy didnt understand what i was trying to say and after15 minutes it sunk in. So he put in another request for pickup. He said they would come Friday (yesterday) but no one showed up. SO i called Fedex this morning to see if they were coming Saturday or what. Well they had no record of me. Now i am getting pissed. So when HP requests a pickup, shouldnt Fedex have the label already made up? Should HP give me a tracking number or something? The only thing they gave me was their own case #. Should i call HP again and tell them fedex has no record of the pickup? I have only 20 days left for warranty.

    yeah they sent me an email with my name and address with my model number, case number, and order number. Then it had links for checking the status of the warranty work.

    Yeah. I don't understand the disconnect.

    I just returned my HP DV1000 and I had no problems. I called customer service and they sent me an email with a confirmation of our discussion. I requested a pre-paid FEDEX Waybill and they sent me a link to put the label on the package for a return. Since my work hours do not correlated with FEDEX, I opted for myself to do the drop off. It went off smoothly without a hitch. I just called HP and they credited my account. Good luck.

    UPDATE:

    Well HP told me they would send another Fedex pick up on Friday. Well Friday came and no Fedex. So i called Fedex to see when they were coming. They had no record of me to pick anything up. Now i'm getting pee'd off. So i called HP back and told them its the 3rd time calling and all about the Fedex issues. I asked him if Fedex was suppose to supply the shipping label thats filled out. He said yes. He gave me a tracking number and said Fedex will be there today. I got my fingers crossed that it'll work out this time.

    Hopefully it will work, i didn't have any problems getting mine shipped off, but rather once they had it they tried to say there was water damage causing my problem until i argued with them.

    OK, HP fedex'd a shipping label to me overnite. Its been filled out except for the type of shipping service (overnite, 2 day). So do i call Fedex for a pickup? Or i wonder if its already been scheduled? I wish they would tell me more.

    well HP got my laptop yesterday morning and its already being shipped back. Should have it tomorrow. Thats fast work.
