    As you all know, you can purchase an identical notebook from either HP or Compaq for nearly the exact same price. This means that the final decision comes down to the simple question of which brand name you go with for the exclusive reason of which case you prefer [ ;)]. Some prefer HP's name-brand audio, other like the open/close mechanism on the compaq, You may enjoy the way the scroll feature feels, or your choice may even be for the color and/or aesthetics.

    Well, since you are reading this section of the forum you probably have an opinion......so lets hear it [ :D]
