On NEWER laptop Computers where is the push to break LID POWER SWITCH? Is it hidden?, and how is it activated?

On Compaq Presario R4000 & C3000 notebook computers, the push to break power button is a small dia raised rubbery nub like button that extends vertically up through the top face of the keyboard bezel, just in front of the lower edge of the screen and contacts the frame of the screen when the notebook case screen/lid is shut. When the lid is closed and the push to break button is depressed it sets the notebook computer to a setting programmed in Windows\ Control Panel \ Power Options \ Advanced tab, Power buttons, first drop down box under,
"When I close the lid of my portable computer", selections, stand by, hibernate or shut down.

Does anyone know what models, and how many models of notebook computer have this small exposed nubby style of lid power button that is raised and not hidden?

I assume the new laptop computers have hidden lid power management switches?

For many of the new computer keyboards F5 seems to have power control functionality?

Yes, they have hidden lid power management switches. To activate them read the user manual guide or Google the information.
