Try pushing the little button (or whatever you decide to call it), which the screen presses when closed. This turns off the screen so maybe it has some problem with turning it on.

A few laptops once you close the screen and it goes to standby you have to lightly tap the power button once to resume it from standby, a Dell I have requires you to do that.

    Just An Idea :D

Also if you still have issues simply disable the option for your system to go into standby period, by using Power Options under Control Panel.

    Hello,

pressing the button which is user for recognition when the screen is closed or not has no effect.
I will try to see if i press the power button slightly if it helps, like i said it doesn`t occur that much, but when it does it is annoying.

    10x for the tips

Did you ever find a resolution? I am experiencing a similar problem with my dv2000t.
