    Nvidia Color Settings On Boot

    Hey i have a dv2500 with the nvidia 8400 for some reason none of my settings from the nvidia control panel load on startup. the settings save but wont apply until i go into the control panel and move the slider. i check msconfig all the nvidia applications are starting. anybody have a solution.

    i'm having the same problem, in theory. I change the settings for my touchpad to a faster rate but when i shutdown or restart the settings go back to default.

    are you guys sure your pressing apply and then ok?
    some dialogs require you to press apply to make the changes happen

    yea i did like edit save and apply i cant seem to get it to work

    do you think disabling uac has anything to do with it. i disabled hps health check and some other items that had nothing to do with nvidia. like ipod and windows media player things but i don't think that would mess up nvidia settings. but i read somewhere after you disable uac some things may change.

    I am having the exact same problem its p!22ing me off!

    I also have the problem with the nvidia color settings not saving on startup, its frustrating!

    Anyone know a fix?

    i fixed it my self i just reinstalled my graphic drivers from the hp website i must have disabled something but after the reinstall its works great now i would try the same thing with the mouse alps drivers hope this helps someone
